Talks and fairs, words and music
I had a fantastic start to October with my three events! I loved every moment, but I’m absolutely shattered now.
My first stop was the Duloe Book Club, near Looe in Cornwall, talking about my books, my career, and my writing process. The members of the group made me feel very welcome and the apple, date, and coconut cake was delicious.
After a brief rest, I was at the Looe Festival of Words book fair, and a quick stop off at West Looe Bookshop to deliver another consignment of books. I was left to take my own photos at the fair, which is why there’s only one 🤦
And finally, the event I was especially excited for, in conversation with Bobbo Byrnes, my critically-acclaimed musician friend from California. We talked about his music and touring and how he came to write a book about his adventures, as well as my work and writing. Our chat was interspersed with some fantastic music. The audience was wonderful and we had so many great questions.
And now, time for another cuppa and maybe a nap 😉
